Cobalt 2000 Prototype in Ultrafire Host - Burns a hole in a business card in 3 to 4 seconds, and when the LASER is removed, the card slowly burns to ashes.

The form-factor of this LASER is tiny compared to Wicked Laser's Arctic. In its single tube configuration, it is easy to carry, inconspicuous, lightweight, and can be mounted on a Picatinny Rail.

In its single extension tube (standard) configuration, this LASER will operate on up to SIX # 18650 batteries (additional extension tubes needed). The LASER Pill driver will accept battery configurations / combinations supplying 5.2 to 36 VDC. The more voltage supplied, the less current is drawn from the batteries, and the longer the batteries will last before they need to be recharged.

Our prototype design Cobalt 1000 (This one measured at 983mw, which is typical of those being produced) LASER burns a hole in a business card in 5 to 6 seconds. This is not so amazing as what happens after the LASER is removed; the card continues to burn as if the molecules in the card were heated so hot that the smoldering and burning continues until the card turns completely to ashes. Maybe it's the card?
