First, the Cobalt 1000:
Your first impression of this LASER might
be skepticism bordering on disbelief on account of its size... but
don't let the size fool you;
this little baby out-shines the Arctic! The Cobalt 1000 looks like a
standard Tactical flashlight, and can be carried easily and
inconspicuously in a (supplied) belt holster. Weapons mounting is also
easy; as you can use any number of standard
Picatinny Rail Clamps.
The light weight (5.2oz.) and small size won't turn your weapon into an
Albatross.
The Cobalt 1000 can also be operated by replacing the Tail Cap with a
Pressure Pad Switch (sold
separately).
This LASER is advertised as "<1,000
milliwatts", and WE TEST AND CERTIFY EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM. Actual
power output may vary from unit-to-unit because of manufacturing and
component variations, but ALL our LASERS will be "in the ball park" as
far as power output is concerned, and we provide our customers with a
CERTIFICATION DOCUMENT that attests to the measured performance of their
particular LASER. By testing each one individually, we ensure 100%
quality control, and that what is known as the "accumulation
of tolerances" don't all add up to an occasional LASER that isn't
what we say it is. What you get if you have the equipment to objectively
measure it, is "in the ball park" and within the specifications. On
average, the Cobalt 1000 has 33% more output power than the Arctic. Of
course, the "Power to Burn" follows the beam intensity.
If you are purchasing a LASER for use on
a Tactical Weapon (TALI), the Cobalt
1000 is your best choice. You will pay upwards of $350 for a LASER
weapons sight that has an output power of less than 5 milliwatts. The
Cobalt 1000 is more than
170 TIMES MORE POWERFUL than any commercial
LASER sight made. Although not specifically designed for this use (there
is no integral sighting adjustment), the Cobalt 1000 will put the Fear
of God into an enemy combatant, and disable his ability to return fire
(see spec sheet). If you are
active duty US Military, call us or
email us for a great deal on the most powerful LASER you can attach
to your weapon.
And now, the Cobalt 2000:
The Cobalt 2000 looks like the Cobalt
1000, only it is 3 inches longer in its standard configuration. The
LASER incorporates a proprietary Linear
Buck / Boost driver which
exploits every ounce of power from two to six #18650 batteries. The
Cobalt 2000 is three inches (74mm) longer than the Cobalt 1000 because
it requires at least TWO #18650 batteries to power it. Although it puts
out nearly TWICE the power of the Cobalt 1000, our proprietary driver
for this unit is able to drain the batteries much "deader" than the
Cobalt 1000 does, and so the battery life between charges is almost an
hour longer (there are TWO batteries supplying power). Unlike the Cobalt
1000 which operates on a single #18650 battery, the Cobalt 2000 can use
up to SIX #18650 batteries - which makes it ridiculously long, but it
would double as a nightstick or baton.
If you are purchasing a LASER for use on
a Tactical Weapon (TALI), the Cobalt
2000 is almost overkill. The
Cobalt 2000 is more than 340 TIMES MORE POWERFUL
than any commercial LASER sight made; in fact, at close range, either of
these LASERS are non-lethal weapons in their own right. Weapons
mounting is also easy; as you can use any number of standard
Picatinny Rail Clamps. The Cobalt
2000 is so powerful that when mounted on a weapon, at ranges up to 300
yards, you almost don't need the bullets to incapacitate an enemy
combatant.
The Cobalt 2000 is by far, the most
powerful hand-held, weapons-mountable LASER made.
There is NOTHING ELSE like it anywhere.
The product of years of experience and many thousands of dollars and as
many hours of development and prototyping, this LASER is truly UNIQUE in
its design, its cutting-edge electronics, and its applications for
military, civil service, rescue, firefighters, forensics work,
holography, and general research. The Cobalt 2000 is
EXTREMELY DANGEROUS
if not handled with the respect it deserves. The Cobalt 2000 is the
newest and most sought-after weapon-mountable
TALI /
TALW on Earth. |

Thanks a
million Dave.... for all the work you put into your lasers, I can't be
happier. Your cobalt 2000 is bad ass, and the cobalt 1000 is so small
and packs one hell of a punch. Thank you for all your help and support
and getting me my laser before I ship out... Ian and you Dave is why I
and every other men and or woman fight for our freedom; we do our job
cause we feel its right, but when someone takes the time to say thanks,
it lets us all know there are people who really care about us men and
women and are truly doing all they can to bring us home safe.
God bless everyone at AWESOME LASERS
and a special thanks to Dave and Ian
Thanks again,
Toni
Rangers lead the way, all the way
Hi Dave,
I received the laser this morning and it is truly a work of art!
Thank you for sending the Cobalt 1000. I look forward to, and can't
imagine how powerful the Cobalt 2000 will be.
Thanks & looking forward to the Cobalt 2000!
Best Regards,
Anthony
